On-board Datalogging... CEL when ON

I had one of the early-purchased Kpro's so i sent in my ECU to get the on-board datalogging added. Got my ecu back, plugged it back in, wired in a manual switch to the E29 pin/ground and enabled the correct parameter...

The switch seems to work fine, it datalogs and i'm able to download the files and view them, but i was curious to know if the CEL is supposed to come on whenever you flip the switch on to datalog? Mine seems to be doing that and just making sure thats ok. I've hooked up the wires from the switch both ways to see if i just wired it wrong, but it does it either way.

Yes, the CEL does come on when using the SCS input. This is something which will be changed soon, probably in the next release.

was this issue ever resolved?

edit: is there a way to make the CEL not come on?

Have you downloaded the newest version and uploaded your calibration using that version to see if the light goes away?

I'm using 1.3.7.0 K-manager

not sure of what my exact k-pro serial number is, but it's less then a month old, don't remember having this problem on my previous k-pro(5037).

this is a swap in a dc2 chassis, hybrid racing interior harness if that makes any difference.

This has not yet been changed in the software. If you do not want the CEL to come on you will have to use a different input.
