First of all, I am completely tickled with my S300 but I still want to perfect a few things.
Right now, I am currently running a H22a full darton sleeved, 88mm Arias Pistons 9:1, Carillo rods, ACL bearings, full port and polish 5 angle valve on head and +1mm on valves, stage 2 BC cams with complete BC valvetrain, 1000cc PTE injectors, Walbro 255, GT35R flowing out a full 3" exhaust..
I would love to run a the boost controller thru the ECU. I like to see and feel a progressive boost curve as I shift into higher gears.
As I of course making sure I have all my ducks in a row before installing this, there are more parts that you need. I understand to buy the Hondata Boost solenoid. From doing various forum readings and research, the same solenoid is used on the AEM setup.
Here is the part that I am trying to find with exactness. I already know to go to the Help within the S300 and type in "Boost Control Preparation". i am sure if that if I bought this setup from Hondata that they would supply the necessary parts. I am also sure that one could stop into a local electronic components store (a.k.a Radio Shack) and pick up:
1- Large Transistor
1- Small Transistor
1- Diode
1- 220 ohm Resistor
1- 330 ohm Resistor
My issue it does not state in the instructions the model or specific numbers and tolerances on these parts. They make the the 220 and the 330 ohm resistors, diodes, and transistors but they have various size and ratings and tolerances..
Can someone shed a lil more light on this... It would be the biggest help.
