alright i'm pretty new to this so bare with me. i took the car to the tuner a week ago for tuning. found out the ecu did not have vtec components installed so we couldnt really complete the tune. so we went ahead and did the part throttle and vac. maps. now i'm still on the same tune and havnt messed with anything (other than using an external output for vtec control) and my afr's are off. sometimes its rich at idle and sometimes its real lean, like in the 16's and running choppy. i do not have the stock wideband in right now i only have a aem wb in the exhaust. i have ordered a plx smafr but its not here yet, so i'm borrowing a friends aem. i was under the assumption that when you disable the stock o2 and disable the heater (for cel purposes) that the ecu would run as it is tuned. as in, it wouldnt look at iat's, ect's and so forth to change the tune accordingly. am i missing something?? why do my afr's keep changing??

any help would be appreciated. i need to get this resolved before i go back to the tuner and up the boost.

and if its needed..... its a d16z6, gt28r, rc550's (with inline resistors), motorola 2.5 bar map, walbro 255.

thanx luke

- the calibration (as an attachment)
should be attached
- a datalog of a problem (as an attachment)
i dont have a datalog of the two instances and theres no w/b imput to
the ecu b/c of the reasons stated above.
- what sort of vehicle you have
95 honda del sol s d16z6
- what sort of ECU you are using
p06 with s300 and pwm
- anything about the car which has been modified from stock which may affect the ECU (don't include what sort of rims you have nor stereo etc).
vitara pistons, eagle rods, gt28r (internally gated), cast mani, rc 550's,
walbro 255, motorola 2.5 bar map
- a specific description of the problem
in the post above.

please help me if you can. i hope i've provided enough info.

Without a datalog showing the problem, it is impossible to speculate on what might be happening.

i'll see if i can make one today... but without an afr reading, will it be helpful?
