Map sensor issue on k24a2?

Well I installed a k24a2 into a base rsx and we are having problems with the idle. It runs exactly like if you were to tap the wrong map sensor location on a rbc for the 05-06 models. It is running the stock tsx manifold and currently I'm using the map location on the manifold. I tried switching it to the TB to check but it wont even start when plugged in there. Anybody have any ideas? Still using the base engine harness and already modified the tps sensor.

Alright somebody help! I did adjust the throttle cable so its always a little on the gas just so it wont die till I get this problem fixed.

Your intake temps are extremely high, but a 7 second datalog really shows us no problems

In 'closed loop' uncheck 'Disable P1167' and 'Disable P0134'.

In 'Advanced' set the overrun cutoff values (both cams) all to 20.

Your intake air temperatures are very high.

Your throttle position sensor does not appear to be adjusted.

Ok thanks. I'll change that and get a new datalog this weekend. I'll remove the throttle cable adjustment so you can see it surging up and down. Hopefully that will help. In the datalog should I be maybe tapping the gas a little occasionally or would you do better off with a simple idle?

The car does have a normal short ram intake...what could cause the intake temps to be soo hot?

Does that question require an answer? If it does, then tell me what the temperature of the air is under the hood compared to ambient.

Well my comment was directed towards the fact that there are a large number of people running short ram intakes. I gathered from your response that the intake temps were exceptionally high(possibly higher than most would see even on a short ram intake). We are in texas and it was 100 degrees that day...he had driven about 45 minutes to get over to me for the datalog. I thought the intake temp was normal all considering.

Here is a new datalog with the changes made you suggested. I also removed the throttle cable adjustment so you can see the poor idle. He held it at around 800rpms for a few seconds but the last 10-15 seconds is primarly what we are looking at.

I ran some tests on the IACV this weekend and that is certainly not the problem. I think I'm gonna throw on a RBC and go from there. Any further suggestions?

There is a still a problem with the TPS - it should read 0% at idle. Do not use the throttle cable to hold the throttle open for an increased idle speed - in this case you need to look at the idle valve.
