controlling rad. fan by K-pro

Post by jdmdc529 »

I just wanted to make sure i am correct on this diagram to have the k-pro control the fan.

Instead of the gray/white wire off of the relay going to the fan switch, do i splice that into b6 to control the fan from the k-pro? Or, do i splice the black wire out of the relay into b6 for the k pro to control the fan?

BTW: I do not have a fan switch

thanks! and anything else i should change?

You need to use a proper fan switch. The ecu control of the fan is just a backup in case of a problem with the fan switch.

Yes i understand that, but would the gry/wht wire just be tapped in the the harness for it to work?

Does the b6 pin to control the fan put out a power or ground?
