K20A2, What AFR to tune for E85??

Post by AllMotor787 »

Well with gas prices the way they are, I have been considering goin the E85 route since it's much cheaper than 93 octane around here.

My question is:

What kind of special tuning will I have to do to get my car to run properly on E85?

Do I tune it to the normal air fuel ratio's for NA? (14.7 @ idle, and 13.0 @ WOT?)

Anything else I should know before filling up with E85? Will my stock 310cc injectors be enough?

Thanks!

The AFR for e85 is different. The lambda however is similar.

Here's a link with some info:

You need to upgrade those injectors. E85 requires a lot more fuel, I've seen people needing 50% more when switching to e85. A high flow fuel pump is probably also a good idea
