I need some help or expertise on my k20 swap. I was wondering how can make the engine work in my 2001 honda civic with the immobiliser problem. My car will not except the ecu unless i get the key flashed at the dealer but the dealer will not able to able flash it because it is a non us version...Will removing the immobilizer allow my car to start up or will it not run at all. another question will this not allow me to flash my ecu through hondata..

Youre going to have to get a US RSX ECU or get a hold of hondata directly to see if they could possibly bypass the immobilizer in the ecu for you or program it for you. Since this is a specialized case you may need to spend more than the standard reflash price.
