Hello, I keep having a random issue with my car. Code 9 will come on randomly. I have my h23 turbo setup that coolant hits 220 to shut it down to 3k, that shoul not be a issue, max temp i see is 202. the car is fine, then after running it hard for a while and being hot for a hour or so the code comes on. let it sit for a bit then drive it and its gone. ive replaced the wiring harness with a new honda piece and a 2nd new distributor. please give me some ideas. again, its not a constant. sometimes it will be 2 weeks then twicein a day, then go 4 days then pop, then its gone. help

Where are you buying your distributors from ?
"New" distributors from napa & advanced autoparts stores are remans which are not quality units like the OEM honda distributor. I have seen many reman distributors fail on customer's vehicles.

its a bran new, not reman from advance autoparts. i found that the s300 board was loose in the ecu, wonder if that may of been part of it. oh and the dizzy was new for 2 months then i put in another new one with the same issues.

Even brand new aftermarket distributors have a high failure rate. You either have faulty wiring in the car, or you have a bad distributor.
