IAT sensor

does the ecu default to a set value if there is an error in the IAT readings or is an error code generated and it goes into limp?

i'm looking at my logs and my air temp is stuck at 76.3F (and no error codes), i tried another sensor and got the same reading... just looking for a hint before i go through the harness

If you are not getting an error code then there is a problem with the wiring or someone has tampered with your ecu.

thanks .. found the problem in the wiring.. works now.
