Possible bug in KManager V1.2.4

Hello,
I have uninstalled the previous version of KManager, deleted all of the folders left behind and installed the new one. I have opened the k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal and uploaded to the ECU.
When I start datalogging I get the following error:
The calibration in the ECU (1.2.3.5) is from an older version of KManager. Please upgrade the ECU calibration before datalogging from this ECU.
When I check the information I see that the software version is 1.2.3.5.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Thanks.

It does not sound like you have actually uploaded the calibration to the ecu using the new version of software. This has been tested and is functioning properly.

I uploaded several calibrations (k20a2-civictyper-factory.kal, k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal and a few custom calibrations based on civictyper-tuned.kal) several times...
I tried to upload from the tool bar and the Menu (Online > Upload).

I took the company laptop,
installed the new KManager (1.2.4.0),
opened k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal,
enabled the immobilizer,
uploaded the calibration,
When I check the information I still see that the software version is 1.2.3.5.
Please advice...

Tested it again here - it is working. Re-download & install KManager, erase security, then upload and test that it can datalog.

Still not working.
Here is what I did:
.Uninstalled KManager.
.Deleted KManager folder and its sub folders.
.Deleted Registry entries about Hondata.
.Restarted the laptop.
.Downloaded and installed the new KManager again.
.Rebooted the laptop.
.Erased Security.
.Turned off the ignition, removed the key, removed the USB cable.
.Rebooted the laptop.
.Waited for 5 Minutes.
.Opened KManager and loaded k20a2-civictyper-tuned.kal.
.Uploaded the calibration without modifying anything.
.Checked the software version.
Still the same.
It seems to me that the new KManager is not setting the software version correct or reading it correct.
I am a computer programer and I can make further tests if you want.
If you have a debug version of the KManager which writes everything in detail to a log file, send it to me and I will send the results to you so we can see what is going on.
Regards.

It it is not setting the calibration version then the KPro will need to come back here for testing.

Can I take the KPro out?
Will I be able to drive my car if I take it out?
I live in Turkey and I bought the KPro from CPL Racing in England. It will cost me time and money. If I can do something without sending you the KPro or my ECU, it will be better for me.
I am planning to install KManager 1.2.3.3 or 1.2.3.4 and see what happens. Since the KManager 1.2.3.5 was able to set the calibration version there is still a chance that this is not a hardware issue.
Thanks for your help.

You will need to send it to CPL so they can check this for you. Contact them and make arrangements to send the K-Pro and ECU back to them for testing.

I uploaded the calibration with the KManager V1.2.3.3 and it couldn't set the calibration version either.
I went back to KManager V1.2.4.0, erased scurity twice and the calibration version is still 1.2.3.5.
I sent an e-mail to CPL Racing about my situation. I hope there is something we can do without sending my ECU to them.
I drive 70 Km a day, without my car it will be realy painfull...
Thanks and Regards.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I execute the Protect ECU command from the Online > Tools > Set Security menu, a window pops up and I see the progress.
When I check information, I see that the security is disabled.
I checked this with KManager V1.2.3.5 and V1.2.4.0.
I know that there is something wrong with my programmer board or the programmer board installation.
I am posting this, hoping it sheds some light about my issues.
Are my issues caused by installation faults or malfunctioning KPro board according to your experiences?
I will not be able to send my ECU to my dealer for 1-2 months.
If you think my issues are caused by my KPro board, I can contact my dealer to ask for a new KPro board. So that I can install it and see if it resolve my issues...
If you tell me what to check and how to check I can check it / have it checked at my office. We have every tool at our electronic labs plus engineers and technicians.
Regards.
