EVAP output

Post by eTiLiKo »

I need to use a "nitrous" output control to control reverse lockout with a PND ecu,but I excluded fan and A/C.They must function because this car is for street.
Remains VSV and 2WBS,both EVAP....but the EVAP system of the K20 is very complex,so I have no idea of what of the two output is "less necessary" for the correct EVAP operation.
What do you think?

Ok,I'll go with the VSV output (EVAP VENT on Helms).
Have anyone experimented this output?Whats up with the EVAP system?

If you wish to keep your car more emissions freindly, you will be better off just getting a PRB ecu to operate the reverse lock-out.

Yes,I know it, for now i want to try with the PND.
On the service manual i have read that the VSV (EVAP CANISTER VENT SHUT VALVE) allows fresh air to go into the canister when the purge valve is opened.
So,maybe the EVAP still continue to work.
I don't know if I'll get a MIL error without this VSV.

Or better, can I simply cut the RVS wire and connect on VSV pin?Or this ground symbols mean that I cannot do this?

IT should work, but you will have to try this to see for sure.
