I tuned K series with hondata since a couple of years and never seen something like this

k24a2 with 2005 RSX wiring (pin out redone to match with 02-04 ecu
in a CRX
with PRB ECU with K-pro
Vtec pressure switch disable

oil pressure is fine over 70 psi when WOT from 2k to 8k

I tried 2 complete different cal and the same problem occured

The vtec engage when command in K-manager
but always disengage about 2-400 rpm after

I don't see anything wrong in the sensors and datalog that made the vtec disengage

when it disengage the cam drop to 0 degree

I attach a cal tested NOT TUNED only to test the vtec if disengage
and attach a datalog

does some of you saw something wrong on the cal on datalog?

You're getting an error code: P0010 VTC oil control solenoid valve malfunction. If you look at the cam angle you'll see that it goes to 47 degrees immediately. Has the intake cam gear been swapped to give more than 25 degrees advance? If so, you're in trouble, as the valves hit the pistons before 50 degrees with the TSX engine. The cause of the VTC problem is the 2005 wiring - its different from the 2002-2004 VTC wiring.

Addional problems to fix are the knock sensor and speed sensor.

I don't understand why

but I don't see the error code

but like you said

I just take a look at the cam cmd and cam angle and there are really weird

the cam gears was modified

but a problem seem to be on the engine wiring

We will put a 2002-04 wiring to make sure everything will be fine

thanks alot for you great and fast support

I dont understand why a don't see the code :?
