2002 Euro Civic Type R
KPro
BDL 66mm Throttle Body
Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake
Mugen Power Twin Loop Rear Silencer
When I step on the accelerator a little, my car starts accelerating and suddenly near 3000RPM it slows down like I break hard and then it starts accelerating like I step on the accelerator hard.
Is this a calibration issue or is it something wrong with my TPS and/or Throttle Body setting (I mean the small screw which is limiting the throttle position at 0%)?
As I noticed that the engine is reving up although the TPS value stays at 0%
When I checked the display (engine stopped and ignition on), I read TPS values between 0% at no throttle and 100% at full throttle.
The car is idling perfectly fine.
What do you think is causing this?
Thanks in advence...

Thank you for the quick reply.Garrett_si wrote:TPS signal don't seem to work
if you unscrew the TPS from the OEM Throttle and screw it to the new one, tkae a lot there...
the K series tps are really easy to broke
it's like a small sheet of porcelain
When I check the display (engine stopped and ignition on), I can read TPS values between 0% at no throttle and 100% at full throttle.
Is it possible that the TPS is broken?

test your tps voltage at closed throttle. it should read .5 volts. i had the same problem after installing a BDL 70mm. the k pro was reading 0 and 100% but it was not at .5 volts. then the k pro said 1 and 109%.
i adjusted the tps, and then scaled the settings in k pro. it runs great now.
