Will the s300 solve my problem???? help please :(

Hi guys , newbie here. I have a bit of a problem with my Integra Type R dc2. I have just had an engine rebuild and have had the Skunk2 stage 2 cams along with full valve train and cam gears installed .Now, i have the Hondata s300 with the socketed p28 ECU but it is not installed (and remapped) yet.
This does mean i am using the standard ECU with its standard mapping :shock: , only until i get my Hondata dealer (in the UK) to install and re-map it properly.
My problem is that my car is very erratic at idling , it just wants to stall most of the time .
Does this sound unusual ? i'm hoping it's just because the standard ecu thinks it is the same engine so it's not giving the right amount of fuel etc...
Do you reckon the s300 will solve my problem if it is remapped accordingly?

It more than likely can be fixed with tuning, but it could also be a problem with the installation of the parts you have. You could have the cam timing off.
