Cant get datalogging to work

the s300 keeps going offline when i start a log or and in the middle of recording. and most times when i look at the graphs for a log....it is just staight lines going accross as if it didnt log anything. and i cant get them to download. i am new to the s300 so anyhelp would be greatly appreciated!! Also is there a way to overlay the logs with my fuel tables?

Has J12 been cut in the ECU?
