I have large injectors, 750cc to be exact.
I have my Idle Target Lambda set for 13.8 but the A/F Command is still pointed toward 14.7~ and is correcting toward that while in closed loop
in Open Loop it will be fine and the AF Command will be 13.8
how can I get this to work correctly in closed loop?

Well yes, I am tuning for 13.8 in open loop for idle, but once closed loop goes back on, it adjusts back to 14.7 taking out about 10 percent on the short termSpunkster wrote:Target lambda does not change anything unless you are autotuning or you are manually adjusting the values to get to your desired A/F. You cannot change the target idle A/F.

i basically have mine setup the same way. 750cc injectors, set at 13.8:1 at idle and -10 short term in closed loop but mine stays. can you post your .kal and a datalog?magnEsium wrote:Well yes, I am tuning for 13.8 in open loop for idle, but once closed loop goes back on, it adjusts back to 14.7 taking out about 10 percent on the short termSpunkster wrote:Target lambda does not change anything unless you are autotuning or you are manually adjusting the values to get to your desired A/F. What he is saying is that unless you run open loop all the time then the target value will always be 14.7 during closed loop. Period.magnEsium wrote:Well yes, I am tuning for 13.8 in open loop for idle, but once closed loop goes back on, it adjusts back to 14.7 taking out about 10 percent on the short termSpunkster wrote:Target lambda does not change anything unless you are autotuning or you are manually adjusting the values to get to your desired A/F. Talk about useless features then, you don't need a lambda target to tune for it lol.. it won't even show up in Lambda overlay anyway..JustinC wrote:What he is saying is that unless you run open loop all the time then the target value will always be 14.7 during closed loop. Im running open loop anyway now, part throttle tuned to 16.5--runs way better without the o2 sensor adjusting for 14.7
