What's the process for 2007 FD2 JDM Civic Type R Hondata reflash ?
I do have a spare ECU.
a) Do I send it to Hondata thru' a dealer? Have it reflash by Hondata and then shipped back to me.
b) Does the dealer does the reflash of the ECU.
I would assume it works the same as KPRO, with the new Hondata Civic reflash. Using my spare ECU, immobiliser function can be disabled on the ECU side and I can have the car immobilisher disconnected. Is this correct ?
Can a dealer with the Honda Diagnostics program the immobilisher code on my spare ECU, or I can send to Hondata the spare key to have the code program, with the reflash?
