JDM p72 okay for GSR

JDM p72 okay for GSR

i have a GS-R...right now i have a stock USDM p72 ecu OBD2...i want to switch to OBD1, will it be okay/better to switch to stock JDM p72 OBD1? will i need a 00-01 converting harness wiring like the skunk2?[/i]

Just make sure you get the manual transmission ecu only. The A/T P72 ecu has a different board and chip that is very close to the OBD2 chip. So you will not be able to install a hondata system in the future unless you get a manual P72 OBD1 ECU.
