I installed a S2000 k-pro this weekend

the valve cover don't look to be required

the only difference notice between the 2000-05 valve cover and the 06+ one

is that the holes for the cam exhaust on intake side is not there....

the PCV valve is not required too

Changing the valve cover is not optional. You must change this or it will not work as the cam position sensor will not read.
