Data logging problems.

I wired up my boost control solenoid, and when i went out to test it the data logger stop recording and then wouldn't recognize my ecu. had to turn my computer off and car off to get it to see the ecu again.
I then deselected the boost control and the same thing happened.
The sparks plugs should be NGK resistors 1 step colder, unless i got the wrong ones and put them in with out realizing it, i will pull them today after work to double check. along with ignition i have MSD will this cause any effects on the ecu?
I have checked the usb cable it is not that.
seems to happen more often when around 4500+ rpm.
Hondata version is the newest, and ecu is up to date too. i have had the s300 for over a year now and have never had this problem.

it seems to me that i may have something interfering with my ecu? the newest things i have added would be the MSD coil and boost control, disarmed boost control, and i have tuned with the MSD before with out any problem? I'm stumped.

1994 Civic DX with D16z6 Turbocharged, P28 ECU wired by king motorsports.

The MSD coil is mos likely the problem, but you need to check to also make sure you are using resistor spark plugs. Try putting the ignition back to stock.

If it is the MSD, what ignition system do you recommend that will not effect the ECU?
Other then the datalog stopping, the car runs perfectly fine.

We recommend the stock ignition system.

Finally got a new distributor, and you seem to be right. After removing the MSD coil, I did a full throttle run all the way to 7500 rpm and the datalog had no issues.

Thanks for the help trouble shooting.
