OBD2b and tachometer

Post by ITR 1102 »

01 ITR with stock ecu, tach works just fine.
same car with p28 and Crome, tach does not work at all.

Is this because of the blue wire that is not connected to the dizzy (ending at the drivers side shock tower on 1 side of the clip) ?

If this issue is only with Crome and Hondata is not affected by this, is that because Hondata looks elsewhere for a signal for the tach, such as off the ignitor signal or something?

I was told that I could either jumper or put a 1k ohm resistor between A21 and A25

any insight?

Please note that this is not my car as I have a 98 ITR and use Hondata :D

I was just tuning another car the other day at the dyno
