3Bar map inaccurate

Post by carbconn »

S200, Motech 3 BAR MAP and I have this selected in the software. Wiring is correct. Atmospheric Voltage is 1.66. Checked back probing with DVOM.

The sensor display reads 5 psi at idle, yet the fuel/timing table shows normal vacume at idle. Of course this causes me to raise my boost cut to 30+ psi just to reach an actual of 10psi or I hit boost cut. I am at a loss as to why the readings are different withinn the Rom editor 4 software. I've tried 2 MAP sensors and confirmed my wiring is correct and the correct signals at the proper wire from the harness. I've done this same set up 100 times and not run into this issue.

Make sure that in Options, Settings you have the Units set to Atmospheric for both vacuum and pressure unit bases.
