JDM ITR JRSC ruff idle with constant backfire, HELP!!!

Post by JDC2TypeR »

I install a JRSC with Hondata S300. In order for my engine to start I had to give it gas while I start it. when the engine starts it idles really ruff, shaking the motor back and forth constantly with backfire then it dies after 10 to 15 seconds. Can it be that my timing is off or the ITR JRSC calibration is corrupted? I notice the injector size is 510cc in the calibraiton, is there a reason why it's 510cc? I change it to 440cc and it's still don't make any difference. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I have installed for my setup

JRSC ITR supercharger
JRSC air intake
JRSC high flow cat
JRSC low temp thermostat
Mugen low temp switch fan sensor
Koyo Racing radiator
Kamekaze headers
Apexi GT catback exhaust system
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Hondata S300 running B18c5 supercharger 12 ohm calibration downloaded from hondata calibration forum.
AEM high flow fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure regulator
Walbro 255 fuel pump
B&M fuel pressure gauge
RC 440 cc injectors
NGK iridium spark plugs
Royal Purple 10w30 motor oil
Innovative wide band o2 sensor

JDC2TypeR,

Here is a copy of the tune that I have on a B16A2 motor with a JRSC. It (hopefully) will run well enough for you to get to a dyno tuning session.

You'll need a different belt. When I get off from work, I can look on my computer and give you the size.

The belt size you will need is 40340, compared to the SIR / GSR / ITR pulley which requires a belt size of 40315.
