p28 problem?

Alright so here is the low down. I bought a p28 that was sent off and notched and preped for s300. After everything was installed I've been throwing code 23 constant. So I went and bought a new knock sensor and installed it and reset the ecu, code came back, so then I cleared dtc's, code came back, so I went through and ran all new wire to the sensor and ecu, tried reseting and cleared dtc's, code came back. I have checked the wiring atleast 5 times now and still I have this problem. So for shits and giggles and because it is my last idea, I threw my vigin p28 back in... no codes. I guess my question is, do you think my hondata preped ecu is messed up? If not, somebody please throw so ideas out there for me.

After having my vigin ecu back in there I figured I would go ahead and try and trip the mil so I disconnected my knock completly and no mil.... I am stumped on this one fellas, any help will be very much appreciatied.

A p28 does not have knock control. You will have to disable the knock sensor under Misc in Parameters.

started up my FI h23 today with a p28 with s300. The problem is that it is giving me the 23- knock code. I have disabled the knocksensor in parameters but i still get the code 23 knocksensor code. Any ideas?

If you disable the knock sensor and upload the calibration or make sure you have real-time update turned on, you will no longer get a knock sensor error code.
