when keeping the original 2 wire o2 sensor while running obd1 arises the issue of running new wire and installing a 4 wire o2.
On a d16a6 crx tuned with RE 4, will it be ok to simply disable the o2 heater in closed loop options and leave closed loop enabled? If not, will installing the 1k ohm resister across the 2 grounds as described in the PLX wideband wiring instructions work?
Goal is to keep 2 wire o2 (unless it really HAS to be changed to use closed loop)
We want to keep closed loop enabled to retain good fuel economy while idling on the grid
This car is race only but the main goal of tuning is to increase fuel economy since it currently runs extremely rich
