When I plug the USB in it says online and makes the noise. the color of the light on the ecu is red. I have tried reinstalling the software and drivers. When I update the usb drivers it comes up as usb drivers updated and when i test usb it comes up as usb drivers installed correctly. However when I go to datalog IAT and ECT both change to 32 degrees in one po6 302 degrees in another po6 regardless of what tempature it really is and the rest of the values stay at zero. And when you go to upload it just does nothing. I have tried other usb cables and they do not work. And my cable i have used on other devices and they worked properly. I have also tried 2 different laptops. i can send detailed pics of my socketing job also since that seems to be the problem most of the time. the first one i thought that was the problem but this one is doing basically the same thing so i dunno

well i when you guys said 99 percent of problems are due to socketing you were not lying. i melted down everypiece of solder i layed down real good with a super fine point soldering iron and tryed it and it worked. i also came to the conclusion about the socketing issue after i put this s300 in my race cars ecu which of course has an s300 socketed by import sports in parker co. i read another post were you guys said that some guys socket job looked bad you said his joints looked like they were cold soldered. i looked at the socket job from import sports and made mine look like theirs and it worked so thanks for the help i should have read more before i posted sorry
