Yet another S300/AEM WB concern

I hooked my AEM 0-5V output into D10 of the ECU (removing original wiring), cut R136 and R138 (what I understood to be R136/138) and loaded the calibrations of 0.0V=10.0 AFR & 5V=19.98 AFR as per the manual's table (correct?).

My gauge is still reading the same yet in the sensor window of the S300 the reading is static. I back-probed voltage reading at harness and had voltage change in relation to AFR but still no change in sensor window.

What am I doing wrong? Current version of SManager is installed (1.3.4.0)

are you sure your at d10 on the harness and are you setting the hondata config to read off d10?

Double ck'd the pin for D10 and traced it through the jumper harness (OBD 2 vehicle) to the corresponding pin at the original wiring harness and specified D10 as the WB input. I'll have to get an datalog tomorrow if possible.

The car is a 00 Si running a P28 w/ S300. Built bottom end (Manley rods and Wiseco 9:1's) with stock valvetrain. Vortech Kit (yeah, I know) with CRV crank ~ 12-13 lbs.. 550's with stock MAP sensor for now, come on new MAP sensor! I've got the car running for now a crappy tune (done by myself) for commuting purposes when raining/wicked cold weather so I don't have to ride. Gotta find a competent tuner to accurately/reliably tune the car!!!


Hopefully below is my calibration and datalog. Let me know if either doesn't work. Also, at about 65 MPH and above my car runs leans as hell when in closed loop as per my WB gauge. I'm open to all suggestions/flames as I'm new to this! It's set-up pretty fat so I'm also getting pretty bad gas mileage!

You may have it wired to D10, but you have the software set to have the input on D14.

Sorry, reading off an old calibration and changed the input to D10 but didn't save. Below is a calibration with D10 selected and still the same result.

Also, any advice for the previously mentioned lean condition? Open loop A/F is fine, Closed loop is horrible; reads full lean and blips an A/F ratio for a sec and then back to full lean.

I've tried selecting a group of blocks in the calibration around the "read" area while at a constant load/speed and upping the fuel trim with no effect. A little steer in the right direction would be great.

I'll have to try and get a datalog up, recording from earlier cut in and out so it wasn't from cold start to closed loop like I would have liked.

Double check your wiring because you are not getting any voltage reading from the ELD input.

After having some running issues I was finally able to check my wiring from gauge to input D10. Checked voltage output from gauge to input of P28 and voltage is corresponding to A/F ratio.

I've traced the wiring from D10 at the connector and it led to the other side of the board (near XLT1) and from there continued to FC1.

I've attached some photos of connector D and cut R136 & 138 (please double check for accuracy) and where "D10" ran to on other side of the board. Also, I found that one of my solders at IC4 was loose (repairing tonight) and I've attached that photo as well.

It needs to be resoldered properly You have cold solder joints.

Corrected solder joints and test drove-still no voltage input reading from S300 even though back-probing connector to P28 shows voltage. Am I inputing the signal to the correct pin? (see attachment)

YOu do not hav eit connected to the correct pin.

Now that wideband input is working, can someone clue me on how to get some fuel in this beater, it's running full lean!

I've tried changing the overall fuel trim, cylinder trim, some water/air temp compensations without much success. I'll run cylinder trim up to 25% positive and the computer will pull fuel out (via short term display) but gauge still shows 17-18:1.

I need some help from someone as this is my daily driver and it runs like pure ass!
