my other o2 sensor crapped out, i put the new one in and i dont know if its reading it since no voltage comes up. any help would be great
before i put the new sensor in i was running 11.0 a/f ratio
i changed the basemap im running and got the a/f to 14.6 at idle. But it still seems like its running rich out the exhaust :?
mods:

hey, Hondata geniuses, can you verify the validity of the below statement.
"Why am i getting 0v reading off the primary o2 sensor?"
" This is NORMAL. Every datalog that I've ever looked at, including my own, was like this. One thing that I do know FOR SURE (straight from Doug at Hondata) is that our ECUs calculate AFR based on O2 sensor CURRENT, not VOLTAGE (this is extremely unorthodox, I know). Of course, you'd expect to see the O2C reading in datalogs move in correspondence with the AFRs, but they don't either. This I can't explain.
I don't know what is wrong with your car, but I can tell you that 0.0V for O2 sensor in the datalogs is 100% normal. Don't go spending money on a new primary O2 sensor just yet."
So it is NORMAL to read 0v at the primary?

If you reference my thread here, WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THIS? I wasted so much $ and time to figure this problem out.

Normally the o2 will datalog both voltage and current, but with a wideband o2 ignore everything apart from the lambda. If the lambda is stuck full rich, then the o2 sensor is not working.
