Startup Oddness

Well I am the proud owner of an s100b in a p28 ecu in the last couple of weeks and had the hondata shipped with a basemap for my car. So far it runs great. Tons better then the FMU setup I had before, but I've had only one quirk. For some reason when I first start it after its been sitting for a while, it runs really really rich at idle and you can see fuel smoke coming out. Once the unit is warmed up and everything it doesn't smoke at all at idle. Is this something that can be tuned out or is this normal for the hondata?

Brief overview of setup:
00 Si
9:1 b16a
walbro 255, aeromotive 1:1, rc 370s
Drag 3 turbo setup

you're injectors are the culprit.

I've heard that if you disable or remove the fuse for the evap control valve (if I recall correctly) you're car will no longer run rich or have a hard time starting.

I don't suppose you know where this fuse is and if it has any negative effects? Sounds like emissions to me...

there is a post previous to yours that explains a little further about your hard starting.

Yes it is an emission issue, but will not have any negative effects. I don't have my honda manual with me to tell you exactly which fuse it is.

I haven't done it myself only because I haven't had the time to think about it yet. But it does seem like people have had good results from doing this with larger injectors.
