SMANAGER slow performance

I recently purchased a S300 and P28, S300 new in the package and P28 used of course. It was socketed by a reputable shop. All functions work properly on the S300, but the performance of making changes highlighting many rows is slow. If i was to highlight 5 columns and adjust fuel percentage adding 20% it would take almost 2 seconds to change. So i figured perhaps that is normal ? well, i did some back to back testing on another unit different ECU and Different daughter board and performed the same changes utilizing the other boards and the changes were almost instant.. no delay.. Has anyone else experienced this ?
Thanks for your time.

I opened up the ECU and the "reputable" shop forgot to add r54 resistor, could this be the underlying issue ?

Spunkster, I can't get a hold of my buddy, Is there something you can tell me about the one I have, My S300 Board is # 3266, has there been other reports of performance degradation on some units ?..

From what you are describing it sounds like normal operation. Newer s300 use a different USB interface which is slightly slower than older ones.

Hmmm, interesting, Since the change is just a matter of Data transfer speeds, i'm assuming it should have no bearing on the processing speed. My initial thought was.. if the unit is taking longer to process the change, the processor must be slower, or there has to be some type of bottleneck, if its the USB being the bottleneck, I'm not as concerned or should i be ?
