Do all ecu's need socketing?

I can't find anything on socketing. What ECU's need it and what one;s don't? I'm confused. Can anyone help me! Where do I send it to get socketed and who do I deal with? Dealer or Hondata?

All ECU's that are goign to be used with hondata need to be socketed.

The best bet is to contact your local dealer and see if they can socket it for you, if not then you can send it to Hondata.

it's very easy to do yourself...

just read hondata's manuals available on there web page
