My software said there was an update to the program.... I did an update search and it downloaded a new version and installed. Now none of my maps load and the program will not launch. It gives a memory error. This is happening for my PC and my Laptop.
Whats up?

What version are you using from Help, About?

The latest version I assume, it just downloaded today. Odd thing is it didnt just update, it reinstalled the whole program. I uninstalled it and tried several more times.
1-2-3-3 version.

Any time you update it must install the whole thing....this is normal.
Give step by step details of exactly what you are doing when you get the error.

After the install it gives an error when it tries to start the program.
"The instruction at "blah blah blah" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be written"
cancel or debug.
It gives the same error when I try to start from the shortcut. I have un-installed several times and I get the same issue both systems.
This has run on both computers for over nine months. How can I go back to the prior version?

Try starting a thread for your issues, makes it easier for you and I both.

You need to be very specific leaving out no details of exactly what steps you are goign through and what you are clickign on and what other programs you are running. You must also provide the complete error message, as "blah blah blah" tells us nothing.
What operating system are you using?

I double clikc on the downloaded file. I follow the installation instructions exaclty. When it finishes installing it tries to open the program automatically. Here is the folowing error message...
"The instructions at "0x00872cf0" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
I am running windows 2000 on the PC and windows XP Pro on the laptop. Only other programs that a left open to run was McCafee anti virus.

First try deleteing the KManager.ini file, but I believe that you'll find that it is the anti-virus software.
One good test on how stable a PC is is to look at how many processes are running under task manager. There only needs to be 16-20 processes for a PC to run; anything else is unnecessary and will make the PC less stable.

I only have bare minimum programs running.
Where can I find the previous version? It was working up to the time it asked to download the update. After that it never worked. Nothing changed on either of my systems except the update itself. Now I am dead in the water since I do not have a copy of the older version.
thnx

The solution is not using an older version.
What processes are running in the task Manager when you get the error?
