I would like you know if you guys wouldn't mind thinking of adding a feature to Kpro where you can basically set a code in the software and if you do not have that code then you have to send the ECU back to hondata or an authorized dealer and pay a fee to get it reset.

That way all these idiots going around stealing them out of cars can't use them and can be returned to their owners. I know you have the protect feature so the map is safe unless you erase it, but that doesn't keep them from stealing it and using it in their car.

Thanks for your time.

protecting your investment would be a good car alarm.
mount the ecu in the car in a way which makes it very difficult or impossible to get out in any time worth taking the risk to steal.
or if you have a TON of money in your car , just sleep in it , dam near live in it , haha. garage works good as well , lol.

Thanks for your pointless post. It is great whenever they target your car just for the ECU, if there is a known deterent then it helps the situation. Since the thieves unhooked the horn and pulled the battery what good would an alarm have done. And btw, it is in the garage now, but it can't alway be.

well , just so you know , good alarms have backup power source for the alarm horn dude. which when mounted under the hood properly , cant be gotten to. but sorry for giving my opinion.
