Wiring Inputs into ECU

Post by JustinC »

Okay, for example. I want to wire a nitrous arming input into my Kpro.

I choose to use the brake switch E22.

Now do I just tap the wire coming from my arming switch into this lead or do I cut off the existing lead and then feed the arming input directly into this lead ?

If I cut it off, what happens to the brake switch ?

Thanks

You must cut the wire. That wire is only so the ecu knows that the brakes have been applied.

Thank you sir, is that the case for most the other inputs and outputs that are available ?

all inputs and outputs you choose to use must be cut from the original source.
