Ok well the car started. Here is what I did. I went into kpro did download and checked my error codes. It said knock sensor circuit malfunction. I was told to turn it off. I did, and I lowered my launch control. Then I uploaded it, and it said something about the ecu needing to be updated but it uploaded anyway. Now the car barley starts and runs and the idle is way off and it smells really really rich. Is there a way to revert to the way it was set before I changed the knock sensor. This was the first time on this computer. My old computer is gone that had all the tunes. But since I hooked up did it save my last tune? also is there just a base tune that I can run incase I cant get it back until I make it to a shop?


the car is a 2001 em2 with a k20a2 and greddy turbo kit. running 650 injectors

also I was given this error code on teh computer after the upload
access violation at address 0033dab in module kmanager.exe. read of address 000001b4

Well after finding out that the map on the car was from an old version of kpro and when I turned off the sensor and uploaded it again it was fubard. Unless you know of a way around this with the newer versions. So for now I put the base tune they had in the system on the car until I can get it to a tuner.

If you do not have a saved copy of the tune, then it is gone and you will have to get retuned.

well I uploaded teh old tune and saved it to my computer. So I still have it, but it says its from and older version of kpro when you try to upload it

What version of software are you using?

This happends to me everytjime I get a version update... try updating the USB drivers also while plugged into the car.
