I need help in determining from my datalog on whats going on with my car... Basically, I was cruising around my neighborhood, my car was hesistating when I was giving alittle gas (7-10% tps) and when i came to a stop sign, my idle a/f was around 16+(which is alot higher where its normally around 14.59).. Anyways, I turned around b/c i knew my car wasn't runnning right, i shifted to neutral coming to a stop sign and my car just cut off... It cranked right back up and ran fine back home.. I been trying to narrow down whats going on, but basically this happened after i installed new kpro, new rc 750 cc injectors with clips, new ngk 8's plugs, bc rh, 3.0 pulley + a2 cp, and new 04-RSX-S primary o2 sensor for my 06 kpro... Everything is brand new, so I dunno how it could be a mechanical failure.. It has been tuned by a local shop and I took it back and we just came up with as low fuel pressure maybe....

I been over everything and can't come up with this problem.. Its happening maybe 7 times in the course of the past 4 months..... Sometimes, you can't crank the car back up, sometimes if you crank it up, it will idle very bad and shut off.... If you unplug the map sensor and plug it back in, it usually lets me crank the car back up and drive it home normally... So I replaced the old map sensor with a new oem map sensor and also installed a jrsc map relocater kit.. It ran fine for 56 days, and then yesterday it started doing the same thing again.. What is causing me to run lean and not get enough fuel to my engine?? Or is this a missfire of some sort? I have no CEL or anything out of the ordinary. I had 2 tuning shops and also Acura dealerships checked it out, and they came up with nothing hence it ran fine when the car was there to be fixed...

Look at the short term trim - it is mostly pegged at +43% The injector duration looks reasonable - I think the place to start is by looking at what the fuel pressure is doing.

Also be aware with a supercharged engine the AF will change a little depending on the temperature of the supercharger unless the IAT sensor is relocated to the supercharger body.

i can't check my fuel pressure with kpro but why would my 06 RSX have a bad fuel pump while in vaccum under 10%tps?? I would think if it would fail it would be under high boost and at around 80% tps+.. and would a bad iat sensor cause me to run leaner than usual and cut out at idle? My iat is still mounted into my short ram intake tube..

Like I said nobody that i have talked to or that has looked at my car can figure out whats wrong.. So your my last resort...

did you also notice that my ign. readings in my datalog was completely diff. vs my red highlighted ignition table values in my current kal?? Is this due to my lean condition that my ign. reading is alot lower than what its supposed to be in my kal?

Should I have under the parameter misc, "disable ignition retard when engine is cold," click or not clicked... Does it even matter? I have it unclicked right now...

To check fuel pressure you need a fuel pressure gauge. I'd also check the voltage drop to injectors and go the injectors flow tested.

are you talking about my injector pulse dropping to 0? That happens alot when I am cruising and just let go of the pedal, but I never went into a lean missfire when that happens.. Another thing that you have mentioned, that my short-term fuel goes to 46% in closed loop, i guess that means my map isn't isn't tuned too good on part or shall i say 1/4 tps... Correct?

What will happen if I change my max short term fuel to 70% instead of the 47%?? Now why in my datalog when I am extremely lean, I am at 46% short term fuel but not at 47%????

Does that mean my primary o2 senses I am very lean and is trying to add 46% fuel to make me to a/f of 14.59?

Hence, me and my acura tech friends have looked over my car like 10 times and still have no solution. And nobody on here has no solution or on the forums, and my tuner has no solution really... My friend and me came up with an idea that maybe my fuel system is clogged at certain times due to trash in the fuel tank. I usually use BP 93 octane, but dunno how good the gas quality is.. Either way, this is the only idea that even makes sense with the weird symptoms I am having... If it was a sensor/mechanical/tune failure, it would happen alot more often than 1-2 times every 2 months if that...

current update, I just got a walboro 255 fuel pump installed and checked all my injector clips... I am hoping this fuel pump solves my problem, if not, its 1 of my rc injectors not firing at certain times.


Are you guys ever planning to let us monitor all 4 indiviual injector pulse/duty cycles in the future?
