ok, i'll start with a lil backgrund info....when my k pro was installed it had ver 1.2.2.8 (that was current at the time) now 1.2.3.1 is current. i had the 91 oct k20a3 map loaded and have put a tonne of crap in the car. i had never used my computer to upload a cal as it was uploaded at the place doing the tune. now i try to upload a base tune for the a3 with the greddy turbo but every time that i try to upload it starts and like 3 secs later a little window comes up saying upload fail. i tried reinstalling the usb drivers but they are apparently workin fine, i watched the lights on the unit and they are normal, the green stays on and the red flashes when i try to upload. i tried downloading the cal thats on there and it seems wacked as my idle rpm came out at 16328 rpm on that cal. anyone kno what i am doin wrong? does the new software need to be uploaded to the ecu? I'm not planning on doing much tuning myself, just getting it to a drivable point so that i can take it to be tuned as there are no tuners anywhere near here. any help is greatly appreciated.

First go to Online, Tools and clear the security. When that is done, close the porgram and reopen it and then go to file, new and laod a new calibration.

What vehicle is this in and have you relocated the ground properly? Do you have any aftermarket engine mounts?

its an 04 civic sir (canadian version) with a prb kpro in it. I have innovative aluminum motor mounts and the ground has been relocated to the valve cover, was like that ever since I got kpro. the mounts however are new. Any ground wires that were attached to the stock mounts have been relocated to a suitable grounding location

dunno, car isnt with me. no internet where it is lol. it worked before. I got a new cable that i am gonna try out. if they doesnt work I am stumped and mad cause this is really aggrivating....its been ready to come home for days and the only thing that isnt cooperating is the damn kpro. It worked before when it was installed and the tune was put on, I have no clue why it wont work now.
