Ok, im searching and trying to figure this out.
Per a search i found that you can wire the clutch switch, not the interlock switch, to the power steering pressure wire at the ecu. is that really it, just run a wire to from the clutch switch to the ecu?

As long as the switch is grounding the input it will work. You may have to invert the input in the software.

So i just tap a wire at the clutch switch and run it to the power steering pressure switch at the ecu. do i cut the psp switch wire to only read off the clutch switch when its depressed?

Whatever input you use must be disconnected from it's original source.

Thank you, Im going to try this out now. Ill cut the wire and go forward from there.

ok Im missing something.
I cut the wire at the ecu for power steering, and both a/c lines. I grounded them directly to ground. i.e. a wire to the cut wire going to the ecu then strait to ground. nothing worked. I was watching in smanager at the sensor window and nothing would trigger anything to change. so far i tried (1 at a time) power steering, both a/c wires, service connector.
what am i missing, please help.
by the way, the service connector, when it was grounded it brout up the mil light as if i was trying to read the error codes. would that normally be how it would work? i really want to use the ac or power steering input for this.

You use a switch, one wire goes to ground form the switch the other goes to the ecu. When the switch is moved it is either open or closed, thus breaking or completing the circuit.

Just a follow up question re:launch control(LC) and Full throttle shift(FTS) feature..could I use just one switch input e.g. B8 PSP to switch both LC and FTS?I was thinking that at launch(with clutch fully deperesed), LC will activate and disengages after a certain set speed.however, as the clutch is released and hits the clutch switch again, the negative signal disengages too, thus turning the FTS feature OFF..will I use separate input switches to run each?if yes, what does the brake switch signal need, positive or negative..I think a/c & psp switches are negative..Thank you very much.

yes you can use one switch/input for both. Using a multimeter you can check continuity between ground and the input in question. You can also use the voltage vuction of a multimeter to determine if it is powered or grounded.

Thank you Spunkster for the reply..Will I just splice or cut the PSP wire on the harness just as we do on WB wiring to the D10 ELD to remove its previous function?

Ok. I am ony asking his because my car is down and I would like to have this wrapped up when it goes back together. I am trying to use the switch that is normally open when you first push the clutch in and closed when the clutch is not pressed. If i use this switch and invert the signal, it will work correctly, right?

Hi ! Just as what I did with mine -invert the signal.goodluck!
