swapping 08si stock with 06si reflashed HELP!!!!!!!

I'm trading my 06si coupe "reflashed" for an 08si sedan. Can i use the the reflashed ecu and just have the immobilizer reprogrammed? or will it not work since the 06 didn't have vsa? Please help will be trading in car soon. :?: :?:

No this will not work becasue of the VSA. You will just have to pay for another upgrade.

Wait, are you saying that he would have to purchase the reflash AGAIN or pay a smaller price to upgrade like when some goes boost? I ask because I am trading my 06 fg2 for an 08 fa5 too but I am not going to purchase the reflash again if that is what needs to be done. No problem in returning the 06 ecu and have it flashed to stock and then sending my new ecu to be reflash for a discounted price if that is possible.

You will have to purchase the reflash at the full price for the new car.
