Hondata

I bought a hondata set for 280 shipped. I own an automatic ls/vtec. I want to run a computer that I could tune and I do plan on a 5 speed swap. The computer that was socketed used to be an automatic? Yet hondata is only for manual cars? I do realize that it is possible to convert an auto to a manual computer.

Can I use this computer the way it is now? If I can't why not?

as long as the ecu has been converted to manual it will work. You will have to wait anyway until you convert the car to manual.
