I need a little assistance with the KPRO. I purchased a KPRO a week ago. The ECU was out of a 02 base RSX. the motor in the car was blown so I purchased a 06 motor because it had only 3k miles on the motor. I need to know what all I need to get in order for the car to run properly and a proper install. I heard that some of the sensors on the 05-06 k20a3 are different than the 02-04 K20A3. What harness and what new sensors I need in order to install kpro on the motor. Thanks in advance.

The KPRO arrived. I also bought a jumper harness from boomslang. The motor is from an 06 base RSX. The wiring harness is from 06 as well. The 02 harness was soo butchered by the cybernation black box and SAFCII. The Turbo is off the car and is reverted back to stock K20A3 set up with 06 K20A3 motor with Jumper Harness, and a 02-04 K20A3 KPRO.

Another problem was incountered. When the KPro is plugged in, the laptop is not reading ignition on. The motor cranks but thats about it. The ignition is reading 12 volts when the ignition is in the on position. I can not load any maps on the KPRO becuase its reading the ignition as off when its turned to the on position. Can anyone give some suggestions?

At this point my only suggestion would be to try the ecu in a known good 02-04 RSX. If that works ok, then the problem lies with all the other things you have changed. We cannot offer support since you are using unsupported wiring and adapters.

My suggestion would be to get an 02-04 wiring harness and get rid of the adapter.
