CEL + Limp Mode...

I recently had my KPRO installed on my 2003 Acura RSX Type S.
Slowmotion Motorsports in Columbus, OH sent it away and then tuned it when they got it back.
A couple hours after receiving it back, I went out to start it and the CEL was on. I also could not rev past 4k rpm (later i found out this is limp mode).
Slowmotion told me to bring it back to them so they could check it out. Which they did and they said they could not even make a connection to the ECU. They unplugged the ECU and let it sit for a while and plugged it back in and everything was fine.
For the past 4 weeks, I've had to unplug my ECU and let it sit whenever the CEL comes on b/c I am unable to make a connection with the ECU.
And I just recently got the Daughter board communication error.
I will be taking my car back to Slowmotion, they said they would contact you guys and try and troubleshoot.
Is there any information at all anyone can give me that I can take to Slowmotion to help speed up the process of getting this fixed?
I am unable to look at the caibration or settings b/c it is locked.
