S300 with D16A9 (OBD0)

Post by Will_sg »

Can the S300 be used with the above engine? I will be turbo-charging the engine.

My intention is to get the OBD0 to OBD1 Adapter Harness and S300 chipped ECU. Check if there is anything else I will need? e.g. can I still use the OBD0 dizzy?

If in the future, I wish to swap in a B16A, can I reuse the ECU? (VTEC?)

thanx

I do not know if there is a bolt on OBD1 distributor you will be able to use.

Just found out the TD-43U distributor for 2nd Gen OBD1 DOHC ZC engine will fit nicely.

My next question will be, since I am using it on a OBD0 engine, would it mean I will not need the harness with additional for vtec, oxygen senor and other sensor?

There is only one OBD0-OBD1 adapter.
