Strange rattling

Hi all,

I?ve attached the .kal, the car is a Euro EP3 (K20a2) with original PRA ECU.
The mod?s: AEM CAI, Decat (with o2sim), Supersprint cat back system.

I?ve recently installed the k.pro, everything works fine, no cel, errors, no nothing (just the cold start problem, but my tps reads 1% at minimum).
I?ve runned the base calibration for a short time, then, uploaded the .kal in attachment, again, everything worked ok, no knocking, no cels, just a big improvement in mid range power.

But, after several test?s, i finaly start to drive it "normally", and find a strange rattling that occurs in the 2000 to 3000 range.
Thouth that was a need of valve lash adjustment, but to be sure, i?ve uploaded the base map again, and... the rattling dissapears.

The rattling sound is tottaly like the bad adjusted valves sound, but a lot lower, a only can ear it in 1st, 2nd and eventualy 3rd gear, with a very low (someting like 5%) tps.

Can you help me out, and by the way, take a look at the map to see it something are bad scaled (like air temperature, corrections, etc).

Thanks in advance.

Calibration looks ok. You should un-disabled the o2 sensor heater error.

What is the difference between the base calibration and the attachment calibration? Does the sound occur with the base calibration?

This values are diferent:

From k20a2-civictyper-factory.kal

[IAT Compensation Low]
; Temperature ?F,Correction %
0=-21.55,11
1=31.64,5
2=86.196875,0
3=175.4,-6
4=208.4,-8

[IAT Compensation High]
; Temperature ?F,Correction %
0=-21.55,11
1=31.64,5
2=86.196875,0
3=175.4,-6
4=208.4,-8

And this from your .kal:
[IAT Compensation Low]
; IAT ?F,Correction %
0=-30.4,0
1=0.725,0
2=30.56,0
3=79.3625,0
4=98.346875,0

[IAT Compensation High]
; IAT ?F,Correction %
0=-30.4,2.9998779296875
1=0.725,1.9989013671875
2=30.56,0
3=79.3625,0
4=98.346875,0

I'm not a "master" of kpro :D ... but check it....

The base calibration i speak it?s the "Civic Type R Factory", the map included in the Kmanager software.
And no... appears only to occur with the map attached.

When you say "un-disable the o2..." you mean check the box in "Disable P0135(02heater)" ?

Rikitau as posted the diferences in the parameters (Obrigado Riki Espanholito ;) ), should i use the original ones, or it?s fine to let the ones in the .kal attached ?

I?ve been analising and i think that the air temp compensation table..are a bit "far away"... isn?t it ?

Thanks

The 'disable o2 sensor heater' should not be checked.
