Just wondering if Hondata has any plans for making 64 bit drivers for USB cable. I can't run Hondata on my Windows Vista computer. I'm a little dissapointed with this.

There will not be support for Vista 64 bit. You cna thank Microsoft for making things so difficult.

Ok so then what do I do? I paid all this money for my Hondata and I'm unable to use it? Thats not very good.
And before you tell me its my fault for buying a Vista computer, well I had no choice as thats what the computer came with. Like all new computers now Vista is going to be standard.

On our website we try to make it clear that our software requires XP, but will also run on 32 bit Vista.
It's not a matter of making 64 bit drivers - with Vista 64 Microsoft only allows WHQL signed drivers.

Well XP is being phased out. And eventually 64 bit will be the only option. Granted this won't be for awhile. But still is there no option? Perhaps for those of us who want a 64 bit driver can we pay an extra fee (assuming theres enough of us)?

How about this... Buy a cheap, extra hard drive. Put a copy of XP on it and use it for tuning.
That is what I would do if I were in your shoes.

I doubt you have to take anything apart....
Turn it off, remove battery.
The hard drive probably either snaps in place, or has a screwed on cover over it... They are super easy to remove; its not like you have to "disassemble" your laptop.
