Question about using a wideband with s300

Post by larby »

hi, this may be a stupid question... I'm installing a s300 in my EG civic, and i will be using an AEM wideband to tune. I'm aware i can link this to the s300 for datalogging, and autotune on the fuel tables, which i intend to do, but what happens about the stock o2 signal?
i can select either 0-5v output or 0-1v output from my wideband, not both at one time. i'll obviously have it set to 0-5v for tuning purposes, and as i'm not running the stock sensor anymore, does it matter that i will no longer have a 0-1v signal? is there some setting in smanager i havent seen to allow for this?
sorry to sound so vague, i've confused myself here i think!

thanks in advance,

James

You'll have to switch between open loop with wideband output and closed loop using the narrrow band output.

PLX has both wide and narrow band outputs.
