Comparing Basemap

Post by Don't Walk »

Hi guys, I have B18C5 (stock internals) with Revhard Turbo Kit (T3/T4) except I did not use the missing link & FMU that came with it, I ran it instead with Hondata S300, P06 ECU (with VTEC) and RC550 injectors. I download the calibrations file B18c5 with Revhard Turbo SC61.skl and she starts right up with no issues, I took it right away to the tuner for tuning and here's what I got 205whp @ 8psi. I was expecting more than that. Do you guys think I got ripped off for $800 bucks for tuning? I attached the file that was tuned in the Dyno, maybe you guys can have a look at it and give me suggestions......Thanks

I would discuss this with your tuner. You may have an exhaust restriction.

I upgrade my exhaust from 2.25in to 2.5 in(exhaust, test pipe & catback) 304 stainless mandrel bents, same time when I had the turbo done. I've seen other guys in this forum and ITRCA forum with exact same car, same turbo kit, bone stock motor and stock exhaust system and make 250whp more than mine. any opinion guys?

Could be your setup, could be tuning, could be anything. You need to talk to the tuner that tuned the car and discuss why it made so little power. He may not have tuned it properly or to it's full potential.
