question about the boost cut feature

Alright, well a turbo acura is definitely different than any of my NA honda cars, so what I am trying to figure out now is why everytime I do a full throttle speed shift between 7800-8000 rpms my car hits boost cut as soon as the next gear is engaged. I am only hitting 8lbs of boost with a 10.5 lb. bost cut setting. Is this just a learning process with my driving style or is this just not supposed to be happening.

It could be your setup. I would have a dealer familiar with Turbo setups look over your installation and tuning.

Ok real quick unlike one of my earlier posts I have got my boost control solenoid working but now I am hitting boost cut in 3rd and 4th gear, any other ideas before I do take it back to my tuner. Could it be a fault in my map sensor

Could it be boost creep? do a datalog and see what boost the map sensor is seeing when you shift quite possible its creeping and hitting the 10.5 psi cut for a brief second
