We have been running with RC1000's and RC1200's with the Honda resistor box installed fine. Resistance of these injectors is 2.5 ohm
Would using RC1600's with an internal resistance of 5 ohm give potential issues in your experience using the same resistor box?

Electrically, no problem with a resistor box, as the resistance is less and the output transistors will be ok. The issue is that the injectors may not get enough current to open and close smoothly at low durations. What you need to do is source a resistor box with a lower resistance - perhaps 5-7 ohms for each injector.
