When changing settings like "Maximum Map for Closed Loop" and "VTEC Boundries", when you set the vacuum units in say mbar, are those numbers based on Absolute or Atmospheric Vacuum, or is the number entirely dependant on what you have set up in your settings?

Thanks.

It assumes atmospheric = 0

So, just to clarify...

It does not matter what you have in your "Options>Settings>Units" tab? Those values in the "Maximum Map for closed loop", etc, are ALWAYS assumed to be from atmospheric = 0?

Just to let you know, this is contrary to what somone there at Hondata told me today over the phone.

It is actually dependant on what units you are selecting for that parameter. Some units such as inches and psi asume atmospheric = 0 and the others assume absolute = 0.

So both are correct.

The settings under options, settings have nothing to do with these readings.

Great! Thanks. Maybe this could be added to the help file?

Are the vacuum unit values in the attached screenshot correct? Or should they be changed from positive to negative or vice versa?

They are only displayed as negative in the table to diferentiate them from the pressure numbers.

You do not need a negative number in the other areas.
